About the position
The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering Department, focusing on the design, testing, and development of power conversion systems and motor control applications. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within the Power Electronics Team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and testing of AC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.
- Develop and test motor control systems for various applications.
- Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and verification.
- Conduct prototype testing on hardware-in-the-loop systems and variable speed drives to verify control performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and instructions during the development and testing phases.
Requirements
- BS with 10 years of experience or MS with 5 years of experience in Power Electronics.
- Proficiency in AC-DC and DC-AC conversion, motor control design, and testing.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and verification.
- Ability to conduct hands-on testing, including setup and use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
