The Senior Pricing Analyst - Air Product at GEODIS plays a crucial role in maintaining and updating pricing tools, profitability models, and pricing sheets across the Freight Forwarding network, specifically supporting Air Export and Import operations. This position is integral to ensuring that pricing strategies are competitive and aligned with market trends, which is essential for the success of the company's logistics services. The analyst will be responsible for administering pricing updates for both new and existing tenders, which includes managing rate extensions, revisions, and implementing monthly market General Rate Increases (GRIs) as well as quarterly fuel and accessorial updates. In addition to pricing updates, the Senior Pricing Analyst will manage all aspects of responses to Requests for Tender (RFT), tenders, and bids related to air accounts. This involves focusing on quotes for all export and USA imports, ensuring that the pricing is competitive and reflective of the current market conditions. The role also includes pricing responsibilities for Intermodal transport, which requires a comprehensive understanding of various transport modes and their associated costs. Collaboration is key in this role, as the analyst will coordinate with overseas offices to gather accurate local charges and air/ocean freight rates. This data will be assessed from multiple sources to prepare competitive pricing for tender submissions. Furthermore, the Senior Pricing Analyst will assist the Pricing and Proposal Manager in developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies, managing prices for key accounts to ensure profitability and market competitiveness.
