About the position

The Sr. Pricing Analyst in Revenue Management will play a crucial role in developing pricing strategies, simulating pricing scenarios, and providing key insights and evaluations of market pricing. This position is essential for assisting in the creation and valuation of annual price plans, monitoring price effectiveness, and integrating data from various sources to enhance pricing analytics. The role requires collaboration with internal and external partners to drive growth and profitability for Constellation Brands' portfolio of products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced level of pricing analysis to support internal business partners.
  • Identify issues and opportunities across key markets, brands, and packages using a fact-based approach.
  • Support the development of new Revenue Growth Management (RGM) capability, including methodologies and processes.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of annual price plans and new pricing models, tools, and reports.
  • Conduct market price analysis and competitive reviews for Brand/Innovation teams.
  • Simulate pricing actions and strategies, assessing their impact on volume, price, and profit.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze the impact of pricing actions on brewers, distributors, and retailers to optimize price performance.
  • Perform analyses of pricing and sales performance using internal and syndicated data.
  • Translate insights into compelling stories for commercial teams and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations for major pricing meetings and monthly pricing reviews.
  • Participate in price training and development opportunities related to Revenue Management functions.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Predictive Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 5 or more years of work experience in relevant positions, preferably in the Alcohol Beverage or CPG Industry.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities, including advanced Excel skills (data formatting, formulas, filters, pivot tables, macros).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and interact with business intelligence systems and data visualization platforms such as Tableau/MicroStrategy.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with syndicated data tools from Circana, Nielsen, and Numerator.
  • Knowledge of economic/financial concepts such as price elasticity, pricing thresholds, trade rate, net sales, and gross profit.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Revenue Growth Management methodologies and processes.
  • Significant experience/knowledge with data mining and econometric modeling.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills to influence stakeholders by transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and BPC.
