About the position

The Sr. Pricing Analyst in Revenue Management will play a crucial role in developing pricing strategies and providing insights to enhance profitability for Constellation Brands' beer portfolio. This position involves analyzing market data, simulating pricing scenarios, and collaborating with various internal and external partners to ensure pricing aligns with business objectives. The analyst will also support the development of new methodologies and processes in Revenue Growth Management (RGM).

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced level of pricing analysis to support internal business partners.
  • Identify issues and opportunities across key markets, brands, and packages using a fact-based approach.
  • Support development of new RGM capability, developing new methodologies and processes.
  • Support the development and analysis of annual price plans and new pricing models, tools, and reports.
  • Provide market price analysis and competitive review for Brand/Innovation teams.
  • Simulate pricing actions and strategies, assessing impact on volume, price, and profit.
  • Ensure pricing is aligned with business objectives through evaluation of strategies.
  • Analyze impact of pricing actions on brewer, distributor, and retailer to optimize price performance.
  • Perform analyses of pricing and sales performance utilizing internal and syndicated data.
  • Translate insights into compelling stories for the commercial teams and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Support/Prepare presentations for major pricing meetings and monthly pricing reviews.
  • Participate in price training, development opportunities, and activities related to Revenue Management functions.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Predictive Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 5 or more years of work experience in relevant position(s), Alcohol Beverage or CPG Industry experience preferred.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities required, including Advanced Excel skills (knowledge of data formatting and formulas, filters, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, interact with business intelligence systems and data visualization platforms such as Tableau/MicroStrategy.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in syndicated data tools from Circana, Nielsen, and Numerator.
  • Knowledge of economic/financial concepts (e.g. price elasticity, pricing thresholds, trade rate, net sales, gross profit).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experienced in Revenue Growth Management methodologies and processes.
  • Significant experience/knowledge with data mining and econometric modeling.
  • Strong analytical, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills to influence stakeholders by transforming data into actionable insights and compelling stories.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA, and BPC is a plus.
  • Advanced technical knowledge/experience working with a variety of data sources including syndicated data, census data, consumer insights data, and others.
