About the position

As a Senior Pricing Operations Analyst at Apple, you will play a crucial role in managing and validating large volumes of master data related to both Apple branded and third-party products. This position is integral to ensuring that the data is effectively utilized by Apple's various go-to-market channels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Operations, Product Marketing, Finance, and Master Data Management, to support strategic product-related events and initiatives that involve pricing. Your work will directly contribute to Apple's financial health and growth, both top and bottom line, by applying innovative financial strategies to complex challenges. In this highly operational and system-driven role, you will be responsible for managing country and channel offerings, localizing product assortments, and implementing various pricing-related data elements. Understanding data flows and system interfaces across multiple systems will be essential for successfully managing your processes and providing support to downstream business partners. You will also have the opportunity to lead or be a strategic member of several systems, process improvement, and strategic business initiatives, making your contributions vital to the company's success. This position requires a self-starter who is a team player, capable of working effectively under deadlines and high-profile deliverables with minimal supervision. You will need to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a track record of identifying opportunities for improvement, recommending solutions, and implementing them. Your ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while effectively communicating complex concepts in straightforward ways will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and validate large volumes of master data related to Apple branded and third-party products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support strategic product-related events and initiatives involving pricing.
  • Manage country and channel offerings and localize product assortments.
  • Implement various pricing-related data elements and understand data flows and system interfaces.
  • Lead or participate in systems, process improvement, and strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within Finance or a related field.
  • BS or BA in Business is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in large enterprise systems, ideally SAP.
  • Experience managing or maintaining master data elements.
  • Excellent skills in Excel.
