As a Senior Principal Backend Developer supporting the Digital Health Surgical Engineering Team in Fort Worth, TX, you will play a key role in collaborating with various teams to design, implement, and maintain a robust backend for our digital platform. Leveraging this position's expertise in backend development and cloud, this role will contribute to the creation of scalable architectures and drive continuous improvement in our software development process. In this role, a typical day will include collaborating closely with architects in the surgical team and other engineering teams, product team, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to develop a robust backend for the digital platform. You will design and implement reliable and scalable backend architecture by leveraging the existing digital platform. Additionally, you will assist in setting up backend infrastructure and collaborate with the DevOps team to create pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. You will participate actively in the software development process, resolving challenging issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Supporting backend testing efforts and devising testing methods to simulate real-world scenarios effectively will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will serve as a representative of the surgical team to provide strategic input on cloud architecture and backend implementation for the digital health organization.
