Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer specializing in Water to join a leading Water Consultancy on a permanent basis. This role offers the flexibility to work on an exciting Water Treatment project, allowing for a hybrid working arrangement where you can attend either the Manchester or Birmingham offices. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing civil design layouts that are not only cost-effective but also meet all specification requirements. In this position, you will undertake technical design and analysis for both new builds and existing civil structures, which include steel and reinforced concrete structures both above and below ground. You will utilize appropriate structural analysis and design packages while adhering to local and national guidance. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will be forming relationships with colleagues at all levels, both within the company and externally, to support the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects. Quality, sustainability, and safety will be at the forefront of your design and asset lifecycle considerations. You will also play a crucial role in preparing briefs, scopes of work, and contributing to bid proposals. Effective time and budget management will be key to meeting project milestones and programmes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to your own growth and the development of others within the team.
