About the position

The position involves owning the package technology roadmap and leading multiple power package technology innovation projects. The role requires collaboration with the Power Product Group, Renesas Operations, and external partners to ensure successful execution of projects that align with business needs and deliver competitive solutions in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Own the PWR package technology roadmap and make significant contributions to it.
• Lead multiple package innovation projects in collaboration with business units, operations, and external vendors.
• Perform technical feasibility and risk assessments of proposed innovative solutions.
• Develop execution plans to bring solutions to market.
• Communicate transparently with PWR business units regarding ongoing engagements.

Requirements

• BS or preferably MS/PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 20 years of experience working with power package technology, preferably in a product group.
• Expert knowledge of power packaging and market trends.
• Experience working with external package vendors and a successful track record of introducing multiple package solutions in high volume production.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
