About the position

The position involves joining a specialized team at Raytheon to develop and maintain Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications in a real-time operational environment. The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplined team members across various phases of systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing, with a focus on meeting unique operational needs. This is an onsite position that requires a security clearance due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for Digital Signal Processing applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
• Work closely with operations personnel to address unique and continuously evolving development needs.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience with software development using C++.
• Experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Digital Signal Processing (DSP) or DSP related software.
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is also required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Xmidas or similar Digital Signal Processing framework.
• Experience programming in Python and Go.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools.
• Experience with Agile Development.
