About the position

The Senior Principal Product role at Gainwell focuses on leading the Product & Technology Team in designing effective Population Health Management (PHM) solutions, particularly in care planning and screening. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, setting strategic roadmaps, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver compelling solutions that enhance patient and provider experiences in whole person care.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the work of the Product & Technology Team focused on designing PHM system/application solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand client business requirements.
  • Set the roadmap for Care Management Solutions to maximize client value.
  • Ensure the roadmap is integrated into the larger PHM service roadmap.
  • Define and design effective Care Management and Screening solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional agile solution teams through defining, designing, configuring, testing, and delivering Care Planning solutions.
  • Conduct solution reviews and analyze gaps between design and client requirements, providing guidance to eliminate gaps.
  • Serve as a consultant and thought-leader for PHM system/application solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for care management and screening from clinical and member perspectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, clinical and business stakeholders, and technical architects.
  • Strategize out-of-the-box concepts to lead the company into the future.
  • Support product teams in developing their product roadmaps when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement new technology processes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A mix of clinical and business, engineering, information systems or related field preferred.
  • Experience with care planning and developing use cases supporting population health management.
  • 3-5 years of business analysis, re-engineering, business transformation, product management, financial analysis, or system design/development experience.
  • Experience working with company products and operating systems.
  • Experience working with customer business processes.
  • Experience planning and deploying clinical, business, or IT initiatives.
  • Effective communication and mentoring abilities for collaboration with business and technology teams.
  • Experience developing and using high-level models to manage complex information.
