About the position

The Senior/Principal Product Manager for the Low-Code UI Platform at Guidewire is responsible for driving the development and growth of the declarative UI Platform. This role involves working with a talented team to create a WYSIWYG editor for UI development and reusable visual components that significantly impact the Guidewire front-end product. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end enablement lifecycle, from concept and requirements specification to successful adoption by Guidewire cloud customers, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Own the declarative UI strategy, roadmap, and execution plan to address the needs of both new and existing customers.
  • Help evolve and refine Guidewire's agile development lifecycle to accelerate delivery of capabilities to optimize cloud hosting of existing products.
  • Act as a key contributor and highly influential member of the UI Platform team that commands attention and drives alignment across a range of opinions, alternatives, and competing interests.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of increasingly responsible product management leadership experience in planning, launching, and oversight of enterprise-class software products and solutions.
  • Direct experience with emerging business models and market trends in SaaS and cloud-hosted environments to understand how this influences cloud transition strategy and execution.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present clearly and persuasively to customers, partners, colleagues, and senior executives.
  • Experience building platforms, WYSIWYG tools and re-usable visual components.
  • Experience with web standards, popular UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc), and UI tools (Figma, Sketch, etc).
  • MA/MS and BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. MBA preferred.
