Oracle is excited to be using our resources, knowledge, and expertise to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. We are committed to improving healthcare for all by bringing unique perspectives and expertise together to tackle the biggest problems in global health, including physician burnout, patient access to data, and barriers to quality care. At Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI), we are developing patient- and provider-centric solutions rapidly and securely, leveraging the power of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to serve our customers across various sectors including patient, provider, payor, public health, population health, and life sciences. Our team applies cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to create people-centric healthcare experiences. In this role, you will explore and analyze performance patterns and reliability issues for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products and services. You will engage with Development and Service partners to identify improvement opportunities for IaaS and propose solutions related to network services, Windows enterprise services, and the migration of services to OCI. You will contribute to defining Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) focused on the IaaS product stack and service, and analyze telemetry data to present findings to various audiences, including executives. As part of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and architecture team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of our services and technology areas, collaborating with development partners to achieve shared goals. The SRE domain requires a unique blend of skills, combining system engineering and development engineering. You will need to understand and explain how product architecture decisions impact the ability to run distributed systems. Your professional curiosity and desire to develop a deep understanding of services and dependencies will be essential in this role. You will also engage with a wide variety of audiences, from individual contributors to executive leadership, and will need to empathize and interact with these personas effectively.
