The Systems Engineering Directorate plays a crucial role in Mission Systems Integration activities, focusing on defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE). We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer for the SPY-6 Family of Radars and GhostEye Family of Radars to assist in the execution of integration and analysis activities. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for identifying issues, generating solutions, and verifying that these solutions are implemented as designed. The position can be located in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA and may require occasional travel. Key responsibilities include the development of concepts of operations for radar systems, radar software requirements development, statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data, and analysis tool development to support problem identification and resolution. Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers will be essential to develop and implement effective solutions. Additional focus areas for these radar systems include signal processing and waveform design, electronic protection methods, phased array and digital beamforming technology, radar search, track and discrimination design, target and threat modeling, and integration and testing of large radar systems. This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to hybrid or remote possibilities. Candidates typically require a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with 7 years of relevant experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is essential, and candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for a security clearance. An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance is also required. Candidates should have experience with the design, development, and analysis of radar systems and software, including waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protection, sensor resource management, and mission planning. Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ is necessary, along with experience in technical writing and oral presentations. A Master's or PhD in a STEM field and Systems Engineering experience on DoD systems are preferred qualifications.
