About the position

The EASR IPT Lead position at Raytheon involves overseeing the execution of ship class projects within the Radar Systems Department. This role requires coordination across various engineering disciplines, budget management, and collaboration with program managers and government counterparts to ensure project success. The IPT Lead will also be responsible for managing suppliers and staffing for the Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall execution of ship class projects across all disciplines.
  • Drive priorities within the ship class and coordinate integrated efforts.
  • Accountable for cost management, aligning product estimates with funding and contract values.
  • Facilitate technical and programmatic coordination across engineering teams, program management, and customers.
  • Coordinate closely with Program Managers regarding budget and schedule.
  • Work with government counterparts to understand project status, schedules, and objectives.
  • Manage suppliers for the ship class in collaboration with the supply chain function.
  • Oversee staffing for the IPT across different engineering disciplines.
  • Coordinate, write, and deliver technical briefs to internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in related Systems Engineering or Multi-Disciplined Engineering.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineering professionals.
  • Experience leading teams and IPTs, using tools and metrics for management.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to travel to support program needs as necessary.
  • Experience as Team Lead or CAM on previous programs.
  • Experience in preparing customer and/or management level briefings.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to customers and senior leadership.
  • Experience in schedule development and action item management.
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon Technologies' products and services.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders such as suppliers and government partners.
  • EVMS Certified or equivalent.
  • Proposal support experience including writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
