About the position

We are seeking a Senior Principal Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Engineer to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. This role is critical in ensuring that user or system functions operate correctly, requiring a detailed understanding of Vehicle, Space & Communications, and end-user intelligence needs. The Senior Principal SI&T Engineer will work closely with teams and program management to apply systems in support of intelligence needs. In this position, you will be part of the SI&T Team in an Agile, DEVSecOps environment. Your responsibilities will include integrating software and hardware, generating, reviewing, maintaining, and managing documentation, and conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies. You will define and conduct system integration tests, which will involve data generation, configuration settings, and test execution. Communication is key in this role, as you will need to report status to section leads and identify potential risks with recommended solutions. To be successful in this role, you will typically require a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. You will be generating test data, configuration settings, and planning and executing tests. Experience with systems and requirements in a test environment is essential, including requirements analysis and developing associated documentation for integration and verification. Additionally, familiarity with GitLab Pipeline Automated Testing and Java development is necessary. A U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to the start date, and only U.S. citizens are eligible for this clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience generating test data, configuration settings, and test planning and execution.
  • Experience with systems and requirements in a test environment, including requirements analysis and developing associated documentation for integration and verification.
  • Experience with GitLab Pipeline Automated Testing.
  • Experience working in Java development.
  • U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date.

Nice-to-haves

  • Systems Engineering experience on a large government program, preferably with ground systems solutions programs.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with pipeline development and maintenance, and associated tools such as Jenkins/Bitbucket/Gitlab.
  • Experience with manual testing techniques, including writing new procedures from scratch and maintaining/updating legacy test procedures.
  • Experience with test automation, including script development, root cause analysis, and resolution using tool suites such as Selenium.
