About the position

We are seeking a Senior / Principal Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent team. This role is crucial for managing senior-level searches and engaging with VP+ and C-suite stakeholders to build effective partnerships across the Tech and People organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing and hiring high-caliber technical talent across various disciplines, including software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. You will play a critical role in shaping our team by identifying and engaging talent that contributes to the diversity and success of our teams at Ro, while facilitating a seamless hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, from job requisition to offer acceptance.
  • Lead and implement innovative recruitment strategies and develop targeted outreach plans to identify and attract exceptional technical talent.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, AI-driven approaches, and niche job platforms, to proactively build talent pipelines.
  • Champion and embed diversity-focused sourcing strategies to attract and engage a diverse candidate pool, ensuring inclusive hiring practices.
  • Engage and build relationships with stakeholders across the Tech org, including VP+ and C-suite leadership.
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers and other key stakeholders in a consultative approach.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the People and Talent teams.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members as needed.
  • Design and own structured, competency-based interview practices and refine processes to optimize candidate experience and recruiting impact.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics to identify roadblocks and develop strategic solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
  • Subject-matter expertise in Software Engineering, Mobile (iOS), Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity.
  • Experience in scaling startups or high-growth companies with evolving processes.
  • Proven ability to effectively partner with, guide, and coach hiring managers and interviewers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of structured interview processes and recruitment process optimization.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruiting process.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment metrics.
