About the position

The Senior Privileged Access Management Analyst (PAM Analyst) will be an integral member of the information security team, tasked with providing operational support for the effective implementation and standardization of the organization's Privileged Access Management (PAM) program. This role involves onboarding accounts to the privileged access management system, conducting audit remediation, cleaning up legacy access systems, and generating reports. The PAM Analyst will collaborate with key partners, engineers, risk and controls, audit teams, and other business units, serving as a liaison to determine appropriate use cases for privileged access. In addition to these responsibilities, the PAM Analyst will advise and occasionally oversee various activities aimed at eliminating manual processes through automation, security posture reporting, self-service options, and partner engagements. The individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Privileged Identity Management domain, assisting with access requests and providing guidance to end users and the user administration team. The role also includes creating and managing various privileged access reports, identifying trends, and suggesting improvement opportunities. The PAM Analyst will support the daily operations of the CyberArk PAM platform, collecting, analyzing, and representing complex data in meaningful reports and metrics. They will develop and maintain end-user documentation and provide relevant training. Participation in project planning and activities across multiple efforts is expected, along with serving as a visible champion of access management and communicating standard processes. The role requires designing, implementing, performing, and continuously optimizing robust processes, procedures, and controls, while also supporting the team's leader in delegated responsibilities and assisting with internal and external audits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard accounts to the privileged access management system.
  • Conduct audit remediation and clean up legacy access systems.
  • Generate and manage various privileged access reports.
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities in access management.
  • Assist with access requests and provide guidance to end users and user administration team.
  • Support daily operations of the CyberArk PAM platform.
  • Collect, analyze, and represent complex data in meaningful reporting and metrics.

  • Participate in project planning and activities across multiple efforts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of work experience in Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management.
  • Proficiency in PAM concepts and standard processes, including least privilege, secondary and firecall IDs.
  • Solid understanding of SOX, SOC, MAR, and NYDFS compliance standards.
  • Experience with Excel pivot tables and graphic charts for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
  • Onboarding and day-to-day operations experience with CyberArk and SailPoint.
  • Understanding of security risk and implementation of mitigating controls.
  • Practical knowledge of IT platforms including Active Directory, LDAP, TIM/TAM, Mainframe, Databases, Unix, and others.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments including AWS and Office 365.
  • Experience developing and continuously improving processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Proactive mentality and ability to work independently on numerous projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer focus to support a positive customer service climate.
  • Excellent analytical skills to properly plan, test, and fully implement security-related concepts.
