About The Position

The Senior Process Control Analyst/Instrumentation Supervisor at J.R. Simplot Company is responsible for leading the operation and maintenance of equipment and processes in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves supervising personnel, developing training plans, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while implementing process control strategies at the Vernal Mine. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3+ years related experience and/or training
• Progressive experience in an industrial environment
• Prior supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic implementation of Process Control and Instrumentation at the Vernal Mine.
• Develop a long term plan for upgrades to process control equipment and software.
• Develop training plan for process control personnel and ensure personnel are up to date with the current practices and technology in process control.
• Prepare budgets for process control upgrades and maintenance.
• Ensure that process control is implemented in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure that Simplot's core values are met and that the Vernal Mine's goals are achieved.
• Supervise process control personnel, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
