About the position

The Senior Process Engineer at Parsons Corporation will play a crucial role in supporting the design, construction, and commissioning of slurry distribution systems within the semiconductor industry. This position requires a versatile engineer who can handle complex engineering assignments and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and functionality of engineering designs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemical engineering support and oversight for the design, construction, and commissioning of slurry distribution systems.
• Review design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate equipment configuration and distribution routing in 3D models for functionality and maintenance requirements.
• Validate engineering calculations and review equipment/component submittals in coordination with O&M staff.
• Review and validate construction RFI responses and approve shop drawings and construction models.
• Conduct field engineering QA during construction and provide commissioning support.
• Enter system information into capacity planning software.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of related work experience in chemical engineering or process engineering.
• Experience in large project greenfield design/construction.
• Preferred experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with chemical slurry pumping and distribution systems.
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software packages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Engineer registration may be required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical facilities and chemical plants.
