About the position

The position involves providing technical responsibility for organizing, executing, and coordinating complex Process Technology project assignments. The role may include overseeing a team of engineers to develop drawings and specifications for various project phases, including feasibility studies and engineering development. The individual will also be responsible for developing quality plans and activity plans for projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and interfacing with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical responsibility for organizing, executing, and coordinating complex Process Technology project assignments.
  • Oversee a team of engineers to develop drawings and specifications for study, feasibility, and engineering phases.
  • Develop Process Technology Quality Plans for small to moderate size projects.
  • Develop and oversee Process Activity Plans for moderate to intermediate size projects.
  • Execute Fluor's scope of work according to contract requirements.
  • Interface with client representatives to align contract requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Fluor discipline engineers to develop interdisciplinary drawings and specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study.
  • Fourteen (14) years of work-related experience.
  • Recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences including management, coworkers, clients, and vendors.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious manner.
  • Relevant experience in the specialty chemical industry with inorganic and electrolyte chemistry is desirable.
