About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Technology as part of IT Service Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading or participating in the management of all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area. Your contributions will focus on increasing system efficiencies and reducing the human intervention time on related tasks. You will review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Collaboration with vendors and other technical personnel will be essential for problem resolution, and you will lead your team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of technical process controls or standards. Additionally, you will work closely with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area.
• Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering human intervention time on related tasks.
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure high levels of availability.
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution.
• Lead the team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of technical process controls or standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 2+ years of experience with Change, Incident, Problem management.
• 2+ years of experience with Automation.
• 2+ years of experience with Python/PowerShell/Java scripting.

Nice-to-haves

• Collaborate with work stream leaders as well as integration leads and process leads to document the gaps.
• Create reporting framework for all levels.
• Understand the requirements to normalize the data sets.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using general guidelines and templates, by updating and creating documentation and procedures.
• Ability to identify the Toil/Process improvements and work towards addressing them as part of day-to-day activities.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to production systems in support of Always-On initiative.
