About the position

The Senior Process Engineering Manager (Electrical PD) at Boston Scientific is responsible for leading a team of process engineers within the Electrical Process Development group. This role focuses on advancing new products, processes, and technologies across multiple divisions, particularly for products manufactured in Arden Hills. The manager will develop strategies for sustaining electrical test systems globally and ensure the delivery of high-quality manufacturing processes to meet customer needs. The position emphasizes building effective partnerships across functions and locations to drive successful execution of key programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in achieving organizational and functional goals.
  • Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, driving practices throughout the organization.
  • Coach engineering teams to develop scalable and robust manufacturing test processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to create innovative and manufacturable product designs.
  • Drive technical projects resulting in new or refined technologies and processes.
  • Develop detailed work plans, budgets, objectives, schedules, and status reports.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance and scale issues, supporting the team to achieve objectives.
  • Make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans to achieve department objectives.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop organizational talent.
  • Create an inclusive, high-performance environment.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership.
  • Build strategic partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally to further objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 7+ years related work experience or Master's degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in leading and developing a technical engineering group.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in electrical engineering or software development.
  • Team-oriented approach to projects that drives collaboration and execution.
  • Experience in developing and transferring manufacturing processes and/or sustaining production equipment/lines.
  • Track record of developing strong partnerships with multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated competency in leading teams in the development of complex technical solutions from concept to commercialization.
  • Working knowledge of Boston Scientific therapies, products, and processes.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, identifying opportunities, and delivering on commitments.
  • Vision to see future technology needs and ability to initiate them with little oversight.
  • Experience with developing medium- and long-term strategic objectives for a service organization.
