About the position

The Senior Process Safety Engineer will lead the delivery of Process Safety consultancy services across high-hazard industries, particularly focusing on Oil & Gas, Low Carbon, and Renewables. This role emphasizes energy transition and requires significant experience with offshore Oil & Gas projects, along with a proven ability to provide technical expertise and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of a range of process safety studies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
• Manage projects, ensuring they are completed on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Facilitate and participate in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and other risk management workshops.
• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Interpret client requirements and prepare detailed technical proposals.
• Promote organizational capabilities and contribute to the development of technical tools and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in high-hazard industries, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Expertise in risk identification, assessment, and management.
• Proficiency in methodologies like Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), PHA facilitation, and bow tie analysis.
• Experience in integrating process safety into design and operations.
• Site support for Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Proven client-facing experience, with an understanding of commercial and technical challenges.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Flexibility in work hours and location to accommodate project needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional certifications (P.E., CEng, CSP) are desirable.
