The Senior Procurement Analyst - Finished Product Sourcing will be a vital part of the Global Finished Product Sourcing team within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) organization, located at the Riverview Campus in Benton Harbor, MI. This role is essential for managing the procurement activities related to finished products across various categories, ensuring that the organization meets its standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. In this position, the Senior Procurement Analyst will assist in vendor management and the introduction of new and existing products. The individual will be responsible for day-to-day business operations, including vendor pricing adjustments and new vendor creations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and product leadership. The analyst will execute procurement activities, manage GSS system-related operations, and coordinate internal deliverables to suppliers, ensuring that demand planning, designs, quality, and cost targets are met. Additionally, the analyst will lead and coordinate activities for new product launches, manage cost and quality projects, and track supplier performance against established plans. The Senior Procurement Analyst will also be responsible for validating and tracking capital and expense expenditures, leading supplier reviews, and developing continuous improvement activities for key product management processes. This role demands strong project management skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day procurement activities in the region with relevant stakeholders, including new vendor creation updates and vendor payment issue resolution.
  • Manage supplier pricing adjustments regularly.
  • Coordinate internal deliverables to suppliers, including demand planning, designs, quality, and cost targets, and develop detailed action plans for suppliers.
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities for new finished product launches and related modifications with suppliers and the cross-functional internal team.
  • Manage launch, cost, and quality projects related to finished products throughout product life cycles to achieve unit cost and quality targets.
  • Daily project management of established launch plans for assigned products/projects.
  • Resolve launch readiness situations and ensure cost, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Balance activities for multiple projects to ensure all priorities and key objectives are met.
  • Validate, track, and issue capital and expense expenditures related to tooling and equipment.
  • Lead and coordinate supplier reviews on day-to-day operational activities/projects.
  • Track and evaluate supplier activities against their launch plan.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators for suppliers and assigned products.
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement activities for key product management processes/systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
  • 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, or project management.
