About the position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Portfolio Analyst to support the Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO) by managing and analyzing complex project portfolios. The role involves leveraging tools like Azure DevOps, Tableau, and Power BI to maintain portfolio data and create metrics and reporting frameworks that align with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in portfolio management, advanced analytical skills, and experience in the financial industry, particularly in the mortgage sector.

Responsibilities

• Support overall portfolio management processes within the Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO).
• Assist in the analysis, discovery, and reporting of project portfolios.
• Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to ensure portfolio alignment with strategic objectives.
• Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage intake processes, portfolio data, and workflows.
• Conduct intake analysis for new efforts and initiatives.
• Facilitate forums related to intake management and intake analysis with requestors, governance, and solution leads.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate identification of problems, opportunities, business value, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop Lean Business Cases based on intake analysis and discovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in product and portfolio analysis.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for portfolio management, metrics, and dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Knowledge of SAFe Scaled Agile is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
