About the position

The Senior Product Analyst at HCA Healthcare is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of solutions and services that support clinical research activities. This role serves as a subject matter expert for clinical and administrative systems, ensuring compliance with clinical research regulations and quality standards. The analyst will engage in requirements analysis, configuration, deployment, and provide ongoing support for HCA Research Institute systems, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit business requirements through meetings and interviews, translating them into system requirements.
  • Analyze business processes to document workflows and generate solutions for improvement.
  • Work with software vendors to configure and test applications, preparing for go-live.
  • Document system maintenance and changes, preparing release notes and communicating downtime.
  • Handle enhancement requests, assess feasibility, prioritize, and track delivery.
  • Perform testing of system changes and document results in pre-production environments.
  • Research and propose ideas for technology and process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with software vendors, participating in regular meetings and coordinating maintenance releases.
  • Maintain a library of system support documentation and manage incidents as Tier 2 support.
  • Support business preparation for downtime and assist with disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing clinical research applications or systems requiring software validation preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies, quality standards, and software validation guidelines preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agile/scrum or project management certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of HCA Information Technology Group processes & tools preferred.
