Acuity is seeking a Senior Product Analyst - Personal Lines to take ownership of Acuity's product portfolio by monitoring and enhancing current products while ensuring alignment with customer and market expectations as well as company objectives. The Product Analyst will be responsible for researching and developing new or improved product offerings aimed at optimizing profitable growth potential. This role involves organizing and analyzing industry, product, and company information to create actionable insights and recommendations that will drive the company's success. In this position, the Senior Product Analyst will champion the implementation of both new and existing products and features. Collaboration will be key, as the analyst will work closely with regional market directors, product leads, and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and position new or enhanced products that align with Acuity's vision. The analyst will create formal product proposals that include product features, suggested coverage wording, coverage comparisons, rating variable analysis, and modifications to rating logic to support specific customer, business segment, regional, and product objectives. Communication of these proposals to executive stakeholders and business leaders will be essential to foster alignment, set direction, and establish priorities. The role also requires partnering with subject matter experts across the organization to research business ideas, market opportunities, or trends that can lead to new and enhanced product ideas. The Senior Product Analyst will assist in analyzing the financial impact of new product ideas and will monitor and evaluate product performance based on key business metrics and customer feedback. This ongoing evaluation will help maintain product relevance, drive improvements, and identify enhancement opportunities. Additionally, the analyst will deliver solutions aimed at improving the customer experience and optimizing product performance, ensuring that Acuity's product portfolio remains best-in-class and aligned with customer and marketplace expectations. The role involves assessing the impact of changes from industry advisory organizations, evaluating their implications for Acuity, and facilitating discussions with stakeholders regarding potential adoption. Conducting competitor and niche market research, along with analyzing internal data, will be crucial for identifying actionable recommendations that drive growth or profitability. The Senior Product Analyst will communicate results and recommendations with stakeholders and business leaders to assist in influencing strategic direction that supports growth, diversification, and profitability. They will also champion customer industry segments, monitor industry trends, and manage the performance of these segments in close partnership with Market Strategy and line functions. Supporting the annual rate change process with marketplace insights and competitor actions will enhance understanding of market positioning and decision-making. Collaboration with Customer and Communication areas will be necessary to execute strategy, design promotional materials, and effectively frame communication for internal and external audiences. The analyst will partner in developing training and communication materials and provide necessary training on product changes and enhancements for Underwriting, Distribution, and agency personnel. Building strong relationships across the organization will be essential to understand the nuances of geographic markets, product lines, and the competitive landscape, enabling the development of creative solutions. Proactively monitoring insurance industry and macroeconomic trends will support Acuity's dynamic and ongoing strategies. The Senior Product Analyst is expected to actively pursue continued professional development, which includes strengthening coverage language aptitude, enriching industry knowledge, broadening understanding of Acuity's underwriting practices, and deepening research and analytical capabilities. Regular and predictable attendance is required, and the analyst will perform other duties as assigned.
