About the position

The Senior Product Analyst at HCA Healthcare is responsible for leading and contributing to the analysis, design, and resolution of issues related to clinical informatics systems. This role requires a strong focus on defining requirements, improving processes, and applying critical thinking to solve complex problems. The analyst will work independently and collaboratively to ensure that IT solutions meet user needs and project goals, while also mentoring others in the department.

Responsibilities

  • Define requirements and ensure they are met and approved by users.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to solve difficult problems and make informed decisions.
  • Take responsibility for MEDITECH modules and lead efforts in issue resolution and enhancement requests.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure a common understanding of project needs and risks.
  • Serve as a mentor to others within the department.
  • Facilitate agreement from partners to support ideas and clarify situations.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization.
  • Navigate complex political situations and anticipate obstacles.
  • Establish relationships and manage customer trust through transparent communications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with MEDITECH clinical documentation applications is preferred.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Highly motivated with a sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to think decisively and achieve results quickly.
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude with a customer service orientation.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
