About the position

CCC Intelligent Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our Automotive Product team at our Chicago HQ office. This role is pivotal in leveraging product performance data to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance our core solutions and improve customer experience. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will work at the intersection of data insights and product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for product improvements. Your analysis will span the entire product development lifecycle, allowing you to size opportunities, analyze experiments, understand customer behavior, and develop key metrics that inform strategic decisions. Your contributions will directly impact our product roadmap and overall user experience, providing you with visibility to senior leadership across our Product & Technology office. In this role, you will monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle, identifying patterns and trends that indicate market success. You will gather and analyze customer feedback through various methods, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, and surveys, to understand customer perceptions and improve overall experience. Additionally, you will evaluate products to enhance our value proposition, studying competitors to ensure our offerings remain competitive. You will create reports and visualizations to present your findings to senior leadership, justifying product or investment recommendations. Proactive analysis will also be a key component of your responsibilities, as you will plan and conduct A/B tests to assess the impact of product enhancements. Collaboration with the product management team will be essential as you help define product strategy and prioritize roadmaps based on insights gathered.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor product performance over its lifecycle, identifying patterns and trends to gauge market success.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback through interviews, focus groups, and surveys to improve customer experience.
  • Evaluate products to determine improvements and study competitors to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Create reports and visualizations to present data findings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Conduct proactive and exploratory analysis, including A/B testing to assess product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define product strategy and prioritize roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or relevant STEM majors).
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Product Analyst or similar quantitative role, with a focus on data analysis and product insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis through survey tools such as Conjointly or Qualtrics.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Pendo or Aha! and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and senior business leaders.
  • A passion for product development and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and independent work.
  • Hypothesis-driven attitude with an eagerness to learn.
