About the position

The Senior Product Analyst at Auctane plays a crucial role in ensuring data-driven decision-making throughout the product life cycle. This position involves collaborating with product teams to enhance product performance and drive growth by leveraging data insights. The analyst will be responsible for defining and tracking user product analytics, creating actionable reports, and supporting strategic planning through data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with product teams as a trusted partner to uncover new ways to improve the product and drive growth.
  • Support a data-driven product development culture by defining, tracking, and operationalizing user product analytics tied to company-level metrics.
  • Create easy-to-interpret analysis and visuals, summarizing actionable findings and engaging stakeholders with data-backed insights.
  • Plan, develop, and own the user product analytics function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a quantitative role, ideally as a product analyst at an enterprise software company or strategic insights organization.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, optimization techniques, and data manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in defining, implementing, and operationalizing new feature and product-level metrics from scratch.
  • Provided strategic product insights that extend beyond standard statistical analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Solid understanding of Google's Cloud Platform, Customer Data Platforms (Segment), and LookML.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and distill findings into actionable insights.
  • Ability to progress at a fast pace while managing multiple opinionated stakeholders.
