OUC - The Reliable One, is presently seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join the Marketing & New Products division. We are seeking a sustainability-driven professional with expertise in product development and business analysis to lead innovative energy management and conservation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to design and scale impactful solutions, build programs from the ground up, and drive non-traditional revenue growth for OUC. In this position, you will design and evaluate energy conservation programs, conducting market analyses, evaluating financial pro formas, preparing business plans, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. You will also collaborate across teams to monitor and ensure program success, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide expertise on sustainability initiatives. With opportunities to grow into operational leadership roles, this position is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong communication skills, proficiency in data analytics, and a passion for sustainability. This full-time position (Monday-Friday, 40 hours) offers a supportive onboarding experience with three months of on-site work to ensure a smooth transition. Afterward, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, with one in-office day per week (Thursdays). Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation of existing and potential non-traditional revenue products and services
  • Serve as lead for cross-functional teams to complete detailed design and implementation of pilot programs
  • Collaborate and/or serve as lead on complex and/or cross-functional projects/programs with strategic impact
  • Review strategic goals, existing programs, market analytics and competitive analysis identifying market gaps and opportunities for potential new products and services
  • Prepare and present financial and market analytics to assess viability of new programs and services
  • Design and implement energy efficiency and conservation programs tailored to various customer segments
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, adjusting tactics as needed to achieve desired outcomes
  • Provide support for data collection and preparation of Conservation goal setting analysis, required annual Conservation reporting and other ad hoc analyses as requested
  • Provide related work guidance, coaching, and training to team members
  • Establish budget and staff forecasts for proposed programs in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Evaluate research data to determine industry best practices
  • Prepare Agenda Items and support material for Commission approval
  • Represent OUC at conferences or on industry committees
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in financial and analytical decision-making for business operations, including 3+ years in new product analysis and development
  • Certification in energy management, sustainability, building science, or related discipline (preferred)
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy conservation principles, with the ability to analyze business cases and validate assumptions (Utility or consulting industry preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for creating business plans, financial pro formas, and delivering presentations to senior leadership
  • Proficiency in data analytics and expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
