About the position

The Senior Product Analyst plays a crucial role within the Product Management team at Truist, focusing on analyzing, designing, and supporting the product platform. This position requires expertise in technology product implementations and a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). The analyst will partner with product management to enhance the organization’s capabilities in the digital landscape, lead projects, and support existing products by addressing product issues. The role is highly visible and involves collaboration with various teams to improve digital commerce across all Retail Bank products.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor digital trends and assess experience-related trends and business models.
  • Lead analysis of the market to develop actionable recommendations for client experiences.
  • Benchmark Truist products against competitors to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research to support product findings and issue remediation.
  • Synthesize insights to share with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Coordinate research efforts to enhance understanding of client insights and competitive landscape.
  • Define and communicate reporting requirements during the software development lifecycle.
  • Support the development of digital roadmaps reflecting client and teammate needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, design, technology, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in banking, financial services, digital, or relevant fields.
  • Two or more years of experience in product analysis, technology, or design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and making independent decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of technology trends in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications.
