About the position

Babylist is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our growing analytics team. The power of Babylist is in our product and the long term relationship we have with our users. We are continuing to improve our core user experience and create new experiences in shopping, health, etc. As a Senior Data Analyst you will help to ensure that the business is making data driven decisions during all aspects of the product life cycle from early-stage return on investment modeling all the way to designing, executing and analyzing product feature experiments that drive value. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers. At Babylist we have an incredibly analytical culture, we use data to solve problems faster and make better decisions quicker. As a Senior Data Analyst you play a pivotal role in maintaining and supporting this culture, you drive business impact. You will partner and be paired with a functional team, within the functional team you take on the shared responsibility of setting and achieving their goals from a data perspective. You enable your functional team to make better decisions through incremental and big step function work.

Responsibilities

  • Create a lasting impact with data at the core of Babylist, acting as a multiplier to your functional team's bottom line
  • Build, own and leverage high level dashboards to quickly and reliably monitor the business performance, product and user experience
  • Partner with PMs in the development of insights and recommendations to unlock value through data, collaborating with the broader team of data experts
  • Keeping up with the domains that you own, and fully understanding the business you support
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, priorities and requirements on a daily basis

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • University degree with above average academic performance in a STEM related field
  • Statistical knowledge
  • Strong experience with SQL
  • Competent with Python
  • Excellent analytical problem solver
  • Motivated to drive tangible business performance through the application of data
  • Capable of driving change within Babylist with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Curious and highly driven to learn and grow
