About the position

The Senior Product Analyst will leverage data analysis skills to enhance StyleSeat's Analytics function, driving decision-making across the business. This role involves collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to address key questions, optimize user engagement, and support a data-driven culture within a product squad. The analyst will also contribute to various business areas, including Customer Experience and Finance, while focusing on actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize key problem areas aligned with squad goals, focusing on enhancing Pro Tools and Payments usage.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of product changes that drive growth by partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing.
  • Design A/B tests and analyze results to inform strategic decision-making and next steps.
  • Explore data to identify areas for improvement and growth, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Design and assist in building analytical infrastructure, including reporting, dashboards, and data pipelines.
  • Recommend data standards and best practices to align measurement and communication about the product and business.
  • Communicate metrics, trends, and key indicators to leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in product analytics, data science, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • Experience working with large datasets and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Amplitude.
  • Experience working embedded within product squads to solve user problems with data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using R, Python, or similar for causal inference or statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency in designing/building data pipelines or using ETL tools.
  • Knowledge of advanced data pipeline tools like Airflow, DBT, or Hevo.
  • Experience in B2B2C marketplace, eCommerce, or B2C organizations.
  • Experience at a startup or late-stage growth company.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
