About the position

As a Senior Product Analyst at January, you will leverage data analysis, visualization, and experimentation to influence product direction and assist product managers in making informed decisions. Your role is pivotal in helping borrowers regain financial stability by providing actionable insights that directly impact product development and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to influence product direction and assist product managers in decision-making.
• Create visualizations and run experiments to evaluate product performance.
• Act as a subject matter expert in data, making recommendations to improve products and processes.
• Collaborate with product managers to continuously make data-driven decisions.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure client success managers are well-informed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience using SQL.
• Experience with programming languages like Python or R for statistical analysis.
• Medium to advanced understanding of statistics related to experimentation.
• Ability to present data compellingly to empower product and engineering teams.
• Strategic thinking with consideration of the overall impact of work on company success.
• Ability to work independently and make insightful recommendations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the fintech industry.
• Familiarity with debt collection processes.
• Knowledge of user experience design principles.
