About the position

The Senior Product Analyst at Recharge will play a crucial role in supporting Direct-To-Consumer ecommerce brands by providing actionable insights and developing data products. This position involves working on product analytics and advanced analytics projects, collaborating closely with data engineering and product teams to deliver value through analytics and insights. The analyst will be responsible for preparing data for modeling, driving hypotheses, applying statistical methods, and developing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and clarify business or product questions.
• Translate and refine business questions into analysis, evaluation metrics, or mathematical models.
• Perform analysis using tools such as SQL and Python.
• Provide analytical thought leadership and suggest new analyses or experiments.
• Own project outcomes from problem definition to presentation of insights.
• Develop solutions for ambiguous problems by framing issues and generating hypotheses.
• Communicate analyses and outcomes effectively to business stakeholders.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for data models and analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems and performing statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with leveraging LLMs and familiarity with frameworks like Langchain.
• Experience developing and operating within Snowflake.
• Expertise in translating data findings to non-data stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Experience in dimensional modeling in dbt is preferred.
• Experience with advanced analytics models, including machine learning or recommendation systems.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous technical and business requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Payments and/or Ecommerce experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Vertex AI, Google Colab, Looker, Dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran, CloudSQL/MySQL, Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), Gitlab, Jinja, Docker, and GCP.
