About the position

As a Senior Product Applications Engineer at Impinj, you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to support partners and customers in developing IoT solutions using Impinj RAIN RFID technology. This role involves providing technical guidance, creating training programs, and developing technical documentation to ensure the success of our partners in the rapidly evolving IoT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and enablement for strategic partners and customers' RAIN RFID solutions.
• Train Impinj's customer technical staff on new product features and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical collateral, including application notes, videos, and sample code.
• Test Impinj products and devices in various use cases from planning to validation.
• Answer technical support inquiries from strategic solution and device partners.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to achieve shared goals.
• Promote Impinj products at industry events and partner sites through demonstrations.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience designing RAIN RFID solutions based on customer requirements.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience in wireless communications, IoT, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of RF principles, link budgets, and antenna propagation.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent work experience.
