About the position

The Senior Product Applications Engineer will support the validation and design-in of digital multiphase controllers, integrated power stages, and power modules for various applications including computing, networking, communication, and artificial intelligence. This role involves product application support, designing and testing evaluation boards, validating new products, and providing technical training to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide product application support for digital multi-phase controllers and power modules.
• Design and test new product evaluation boards.
• Validate new products and VR solutions for customer applications.
• Create go-to-market evaluation boards, reference design schematics, application notes, and design tools for new products.
• Support customer design-in activities including schematic and layout reviews, board bring up, and system-level validation.
• Provide technical training to FAEs, sales, and customers.

Requirements

• MSEE, major in Power Electronics is preferred.
• Good knowledge in DC/DC power conversion topologies and power MOSFET characteristics.
• Hands-on experience in designing DC/DC switching power supplies.
• Good lab skills in using digital oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers.
• Experience in using schematic entry, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve technical problems independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Speaking Mandarin is preferred to support Asian customers.
