About the position

The Senior Product Applications Engineer position at Analog Devices, Inc. is a pivotal role within the Aerospace, Defense, and RF Products Group (ADEF). This group is dedicated to developing ultra-wideband transceiver products that cater to aerospace, defense, instrumentation, and satellite applications. As a Product Applications Engineer, you will collaborate closely with various teams, including IC design, software development, product engineering, marketing, and field applications engineers. Your primary goal will be to facilitate a seamless transition for customers from evaluation to prototyping with ultra-wideband transceiver designs, ensuring a positive customer experience and securing new design-ins. In this role, you will be responsible for building solution platforms that support application investigations, product evaluations, demonstration systems, and reference designs specifically for the ADEF and Instrumentation markets. You will work in tandem with the product and software development teams to define requirements for future products and systems. Additionally, you will write code to test and debug ultra-wideband transceiver product evaluation systems using lab test equipment. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve guiding customers in integrating and troubleshooting both software and hardware on ADI evaluation systems and their own systems. Moreover, you will be tasked with developing technical collateral, including application notes, technical articles, and datasheets that effectively communicate silicon functionality, firmware, and software operations to customers. Your support will extend to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits, where you will present information, answer questions, and assist in debugging customer issues. This role requires a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
