About the position

As a Senior Product Associate in Voice of the Customer, you will leverage your expertise in product development and optimization to significantly impact the creation of innovative products and the continuous improvement of existing offerings. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience and increase application submission rates by utilizing user research and customer feedback. You will support the development of end-to-end customer journey mapping by establishing customer insights at key strategic touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect customer and market needs through user research and discovery.
  • Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
  • Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
  • Write the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
  • Collaborate with content, design, legal, and product teams to develop new surveys for gathering customer insights.
  • Provide monthly reports to product teams on customer insight trends.
  • Work closely with analytics partners to quantify opportunities.
  • Enhance Tableau reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
  • Capable of synthesizing large volumes of customer data into actionable insights.
  • Possesses a strong sense of curiosity to explore new opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.
  • Proficient in navigating and working within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills for manipulating and organizing large datasets.
