About the position

As a Senior Product Analyst at Checkr, you will collaborate with various business departments to develop complex models that communicate business impacts, ensuring the company maintains its leadership in efficiency and quality. This role is crucial within the Data Platform organization, reporting directly to the Head of Data Platform, and involves working closely with Product, Financial Planning & Strategy, and Data Engineering teams to leverage data strategically for business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gain deep understanding of products and customers.
  • Develop models to inform decision making, optimize conversion, and drive growth, including customer behavior prediction models and econometric models.
  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations from models to a non-technical audience across all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with product owners and marketing teams to analyze the value of new features and provide insights for experiment design.
  • Create customer profiles and develop metrics such as LTV and Churn based on exploratory analysis.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to website performance by examining customer experience and usability trends.
  • Promote a data-driven culture through experimentation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, with at least 3+ years in a product analytics/data science role, preferably in a Product Led Growth organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and A/B testing, with an understanding of data warehouse principles including data modeling.
  • Experience in product-led growth A/B experiments, including understanding product metrics and optimizing based on findings.
  • Proficiency in R or Python for statistical analysis, causal inferencing, and visualization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to distill complex analytical solutions into actionable insights.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters or PhD degree with 3+ years of experience in a product led growth organization.
  • Experience in synthesizing business problems and building models.
