About the position

Parker Aerospace, a segment of Parker Hannifin Corporation, is seeking a Senior Product Data Engineering Analyst to lead the control and management of engineering design data, particularly focusing on the Engineering Change Management process. This role is pivotal in establishing a cohesive Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) vision and strategy that supports both engineering and broader business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and training engineering staff on the effective use of SAP and SmarTeam, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills to manage product data effectively. The Senior Product Data Engineering Analyst will support the development and execution of PDM/PLM policies and procedures, maintaining written operating procedures that govern PLM functions. This includes configuring PDM system data and functions, managing user administration, lifecycle rules, electronic workflows, and providing first-tier user support. A strong understanding of CATIA is essential for establishing best practices with SmarTeam integration and the eventual transition to Enovia 3D Experience. Collaboration with IT is crucial to ensure the correct configuration of systems, and the analyst will support all engineering PDM-related internal and external audits. The role also involves managing data control SAP functions, including engineering change records, document records, and bills-of-materials, while ensuring the integrity of product data in SAP. The analyst will oversee the migration of product data from legacy systems into SmarTeam and SAP, ensuring a smooth transition and management of data across functional areas. As a member of the management team, the Senior Product Data Engineering Analyst will contribute to the development and realization of departmental strategic plans, budgets, and goals. The role requires a proactive approach to support the Engineering organization in delivering design products that meet program demands, including the creation and maintenance of 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills-of-Material. The analyst will also ensure that Design Drafting standards are upheld and that the Standards Committee operates effectively. Special projects may be assigned as needed, requiring strong project management skills and the ability to lead initiatives effectively.
