About the position

The Senior Product Design Manager for Trust & Safety at DoorDash is a leadership role focused on enhancing the design strategy across various platforms, including Support, Trust & Safety, Fraud, and Internal Tools. This position aims to evolve the team's vision and culture while solving significant design challenges that improve user experiences for customers, Dashers, Merchants, and internal employees. The role involves managing a team of designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning design priorities with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Champion customer-centric thinking throughout the design process.
• Act as a thought partner to cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations.
• Manage a team of designers, guiding them in both soft and hard skills.
• Partner with design leadership to build a holistic design strategy for all products.
• Recruit designers to enhance the design quality at DoorDash.
• Align team priorities and deliverables with the company's overarching strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in design.
• 3+ years of team building and management experience, managing a team of 5 or more.
• Experience in building modern, user-friendly tools for both B2B and B2C audiences.
