About the position

Netflix is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its Commerce Experience Design team, focusing on Acquisition products. This team is part of Netflix's Growth & Commerce organization, which is responsible for creating innovative and delightful global user and revenue acquisition, upsell, and retention experiences. The products developed by this team are crucial as they drive a significant portion of Netflix's revenue and user growth. As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with other experienced product and content designers, product managers, consumer insight researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to tackle one of the most impactful and challenging initiatives at Netflix. In this role, you will be expected to bring a broad set of skills that encompass product thinking, interaction design, user research, and visual communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong design craft and the ability to rapidly ideate and produce design concepts. You will be responsible for leading and executing creative visions for brand and innovation-forward landing pages and acquisition funnels, as well as working with test and algorithm-driven products. A deep understanding of the experimentation-driven design process is essential, as is the ability to think through the lens of business impact, effectively wearing a Product Manager's hat when necessary. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and content designers, product managers, consumer insight researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop impactful acquisition products.
  • Lead and execute creative visions for brand and innovation-forward landing pages and acquisition funnels.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of the experimentation-driven design process to inform product design decisions.
  • Rapidly ideate and produce design concepts that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Articulate and defend design decisions while making trade-offs with complex product and policy definitions.
  • Think through the lens of business impact, effectively wearing a Product Manager's hat when necessary.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Product Design experience, preferably with consumer products from zero to one and scaling products from one to one hundred million.
  • Extensive experience working with web and native mobile products; TV UI experience is a plus.
  • Experience leading and executing creative visions for brand and innovation-forward landing pages and acquisition funnels.
  • Experience working with test and algorithm-driven products, with a deep understanding of the experimentation-driven design process.
  • Top-notch design craft and ability to rapidly ideate and produce design concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate and defend design decisions.
