About the position

The Senior Product Designer for the Actions Platform at Celonis is responsible for shaping user experiences that empower customers to act on process improvement opportunities. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver intuitive and engaging software experiences that enhance business efficiency through automation and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to explore problem spaces and understand customer needs.
• Define UX and UI requirements and transform them into beautiful designs and prototypes.
• Own the user experience of key user journeys for process automation.
• Establish a deep understanding of user needs and translate them into intuitive product designs.
• Work with the custom design system in Figma, both as a consumer and contributor.
• Utilize cutting-edge technologies and AI to innovate and improve customer efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, collaborating within software development teams.
• In-depth knowledge of interaction design, usability engineering, testing methodologies, and gestalt principles.
• Skilled in applying usability principles and techniques through various stages of product development.
• Experience working with and contributing to Design Systems in Figma.
• Strong empathy for users and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to advocate for user-centered design.
• Understanding of accessibility standards to ensure inclusive designs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing design abilities.
