About the position

As a Senior Product Designer in the Customer Experience team at DoorDash, you will focus on enhancing the user experience across the marketplace, which includes consumers, merchants, and Dashers. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions that improve customer satisfaction and drive business metrics. You will lead the design process from strategy to execution, ensuring that the support experience is quick, reliable, and embodies the essence of DoorDash. This position also includes ownership of the help center experience for Dashers, with an emphasis on innovation and future-oriented design, particularly with AI considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship your designs.
• Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
• Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Design and ship high-quality product improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in product design.
• Experience with consumer-facing, B2B, and mobile design.
• Strong mastery of the design process and ability to lead design sprints.
• Passion for leading product strategy and vision for new product areas.
• Ability to balance strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design.
