About the position

Everlaw is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of Bluebook, the company's design system. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail and a process-driven mindset to create components that balance flexibility and robustness. The designer will collaborate closely with engineering partners to ensure the design system is effective and accessible, ultimately enhancing the user experience for Everlaw's products.

Responsibilities

• Design and define interaction patterns for complex components while considering their downstream impact.
• Ensure effective implementation of a high-quality design system through collaboration with Engineering partners.
• Audit and revise the component library to maintain production readiness and effectiveness.
• Provide actionable feedback to other designers to ensure a cohesive user experience.
• Act as an owner for building and maintaining Bluebook, setting vision and standards for quality and accessibility.
• Improve design and product development processes by addressing inefficiencies through collaboration.
• Champion the design system and advocate for standards and accessibility across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing for B2B SaaS products, including 3 years for a B2B SaaS design system.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like React, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong collaboration and feedback skills, valuing input from others.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and implement work efficiently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience creating visual assets such as illustrations and icon families.
• Experience leading design sprints and workshops.
• Experience advocating for accessibility and advising on coding practices.
