As a Senior Product Designer at BetterUp, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our UX framework and UI design approach for our Direct to Consumer experience. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the experience for members utilizing BetterUp for coaching and professional development. This position is not just about design; it’s about innovating and pushing design boundaries while consistently advocating for our members. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to understand pain points, validate designs, and iterate quickly, thriving in a collaborative, ego-free environment that values finding the best outcomes. In this role, you will lead projects from concept to launch, embracing ambiguity and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI. Your expertise in growth design and re-engagement strategies, along with a curious and investigative mindset, will be essential to your team's success. You will drive the creation of immersive, enlightening experiences to help our members learn about themselves and make progress towards their goals, working collaboratively with behavior scientists, engineers, product managers, and content creators. You will also organize and conduct user research and test prototypes to understand people's needs and the resonance of our product, synthesizing the results to inspire empathy and bring clarity to the broader team. Your ability to explore and apply new technologies like AI to enhance product experiences will be crucial. You will execute the process of planning, navigating trade-offs, and creating meaningful user experiences, ensuring that the products we build are designed to create impact. Solid stakeholder management skills will be necessary, ensuring proactive communication across the organization and translating diverse feedback into accountable actions that drive forward our mission.
