About the position

As a Senior Product Designer at BetterUp, you will play a key role in shaping the UX framework and UI design for our Direct to Consumer experience. Your focus will be on enhancing the experience for members using BetterUp for coaching and professional development, driving innovation, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation of immersive, enlightening experiences for members.
• Lead design projects from brief, research, and concept exploration through prototyping and visual design.
• Organize and conduct user research and test prototypes to understand user needs.
• Explore and apply new technologies like AI to enhance product experiences.
• Plan, navigate trade-offs, and create meaningful user experiences.
• Showcase solid stakeholder management skills and ensure proactive communication.
• Align customer needs with business objectives and maintain a company-first approach.
• Make smart and decisive decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Occasionally step into product management roles to strategize on product direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a designer, leading or contributing individually.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating depth in both UX and UI.
• Experience with tools like Figma and Framer for prototyping.
• Experience leading the end-to-end design process and/or agile sprints.
• Expert verbal and written communication skills, especially with remote teams.
