In this role as a Senior Product Designer within the Growth Design team, you will be a pivotal contributor, reporting directly to the Design Manager of the Growth Platform. You will join a diverse organization that spans multiple teams across North America and Australia. As a high-level individual contributor, your primary focus will be on leading strategic growth design initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience and delivering a better time to value for our users. You will collaborate closely with other Growth designers and various design teams throughout the company to create cohesive, high-quality experiences that resonate with our customer base. Your work will directly impact our extensive customer network, which includes over 250,000 customers in 190 countries, influencing tens of thousands of customers and millions of users. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating excellence in utilizing experimentation and data-driven design methodologies, advocating for the importance of growth-oriented design across the organization, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and refine the broader Growth strategy. You will also be tasked with improving the craft quality across all design specializations within your team and ensuring that the unique perspectives and needs of Growth design are integrated into larger strategic design projects. Additionally, you will contribute to initiatives outside of Growth design that enhance the overall design capabilities of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellence in using experimentation and data-driven design decision-making
  • Advocate the importance of designing for growth across the business
  • Work with product managers, engineering and other partners to define the wider Growth strategy
  • Improve craft quality for all design specializations in your team
  • Bring the perspective and needs of Growth design to larger design strategic projects
  • Contribute to programs outside of Growth design which improve overall design capability

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer with a focus on growth and user experience
  • Strong understanding of data-driven design methodologies and experimentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers
  • Excellent communication skills to advocate for design principles and strategies
  • Experience in leading design projects and initiatives that impact customer experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of user research methodologies and user testing
  • Experience in designing for a global audience
